In 1950s France, a wealthy family gathers to celebrate the New Year in a luxury mansion in a lucrative and secluded part of the country. But since the head of the house was killed, there will be no holiday. Could the murderer be none other than the 8 women in the house, his powerful wife? Or her mother-in-law? Miserly mother?
