After the death of his main boss, Bumpy Johnson, Frank Lucas announces himself as the main person to take over the drug dealing business in Manhattan's Harlem district and starts shipping goods from South East Asia. Trying all kinds of methods to bring the goods he bought to the borders of America, Frank's new goods are both better quality and cheaper than the ones sold on the streets. As he makes his name known, his business grows and he secures himself by collaborating with one of New York's most powerful mobsters. On the other hand, in this movie, the life story of Richie Roberts, who is trying to continue his profession in the same region, is also told.
