Robert Stroud is sentenced to life in prison. One day, a wounded bird comes to his cell and heals him. Stroud, who became an expert on birds over time, has now become an ornithologist. Living under difficult conditions in the prison, Stroud begins to take more interest in birds. Stroud, who transferred to Alcatraz, will not stop his interest in birds here.
