As a minor, 16-year-old Arturs Vanags joins one of Latvia's national battalions with his father and brother, a former sniper. The young man, who is very excited to join the war, will soon meet the real face of the war and realize that nothing is as he imagined. Seeing that he is involved in a war where people are brutally killed, Arturs now begins to dream of the day he will return home.
