Norway 1969, the world's largest oil field, Ekofisk, was discovered in the North Sea. Then there is the fifty-year robbery of one of the natural resources the world has: natural gas. Years of drilling and financial gains have resulted in a mile-long crack in the ocean floor. When one of the hundreds of platforms is lost in the ocean due to an earthquake, submarine operator Sofia (Kristine Kujath Thorp) is called in to search for survivors. But what he finds is the beginning of an apocalyptic ecological catastrophe. During the evacuation from all platforms, Sofia's lover Stian (Henrik Bjelland) is stranded at the bottom of the ocean. Then, in a blood-curdling race against time to save his great love and the entire world from destruction...
