Having a very routine life, Chip Gutchel, a bored married IT Engineer discovers himself once again after an exam. After he becomes responsible of a missing child, his harmless kink grows into a very dangerous addiction. He joins Alcoholics Anonymous to get a hold of his life again and years later he becomes the sponsor of a newly sober detective. The detective investigates a missing child case at Chip's office and will soon realize that Chip's addiction may not be only alcohol, but something more sinister.
