Ben Cash, who lives with his 6 children in the northwest pacific forests of the USA, away from the civilization environment, has created his own truth in this environment. His children, on the other hand, could not gain any immunity against civilization, and therefore he tried to raise his children with great care, both physically and intellectually. However, after losing his wife Leslie, the whole order he established collapses and Ben is forced to return to the city with his children. Their children will have to face urban civilization, and Ben will have to face his hitherto groundbreaking parenting methods...
