A perfect family adopts two orphaned brothers Sal (Makenzie Vega) and Ray (Abigail Breslin). The brothers want to take the dog they rescued from the street a while ago and named Chestnut with them. However, pets are not allowed in their new apartment in New York. On top of that, their new dad is also allergic to dogs. However, Sal and Ray have no intention of leaving Chestnut. So how long will they be able to feed this naughty dog secretly from their families?
