Chips 2017 Movie Jon Baker (Shepard) and Frank Ponch Poncherello (Peña) joined the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Los Angeles not long ago, but their reasons for joining are very different. Baker is a battered former professional motorcyclist trying to put his life and marriage together. On the other hand, Poncherello is an undercover agent who is investigating a million-dollar robbery within the CHP. The coming together of an inexperienced rookie and a professional who had to be a team will make a lot of noise, and being a real team will be easy.
