17-year-old Zack Sobietch is a fun and loving high school senior with a raw musical talent. But a few weeks after his fourth grade, shortly after asking for his long-standing romance, when he learned that his cancer had spread, Zack's world turned over and life expectancy was only six months. With the limited time he had left, he and his best friend and writing partner Sammy pursued their dreams and finally decided to make an album. They know very little, they will soon become a viral musical phenomenon. But when time runs out, Zack faces the reality that no matter how much time he spends, he will hurt his most loved ones, including Amy, the love of his life. As Zack's health begins to deteriorate, he is forced to make difficult decisions about how to spend his time and, more importantly, with whom. Eventually, he discovered that music was the best way to say goodbye, and his hit CLOUDS was born.
