The legendary Tyrus Raymond Cobb (Ty) is the greatest baseball player of all time. At the age of 72, he decides to write a full biography of his life. Sportswriter Al Stump decides that. But things don't go as smoothly as expected, but months later, Cobb and Stump become friends. At this point, Stump, as expected, can't choose between writing a documentary-like book or telling the real grumpy Cobb character. He will write two books at the same time. The real question is which one to publish in the face of Cobb's declining health.
