28 December 1999: As the world approaches the end of the millennium, these days are the beginning of the end. Jericho Cane, a former cop and now working for a private security company, begins a new day, unaware of what they will encounter. He is now fed up with routine security checks. At the same time, nothing in life has lost any meaning since the death of his wife and child. He rescues a young woman named Christine from the attackers who have invaded her home, right after a strange encounter with a homeless who tells her that the curse is imminent. Shortly after Cane realizes that the young woman is a key to supernatural dark forces, as prophesied, he soon finds himself in a game of cat and mouse.
