Money, job, no hope for the future Erin Brockovich is in a very difficult situation. Involved in a car accident that wasn't her fault, Erin suddenly finds herself in far worse conditions. Left with no other choice, Erin convinces her to work at the law firm of her lawyer, Ed Masri (Albert Finney). While working here, he comes across some medical records in the real estate files. Confused, Erin begins to doubt the connection. Erin, who convinces Ed to investigate the incident, learns that the water used by the local people is dirty, this fact is hidden from them, and therefore the people living there are suffering from some serious diseases.
