Yukihiko Tsutsumi, who has directed many hit movies, is here this time with an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Naoki award-winning author Rio Shimamoto. The mystery film is about a certified psychologist who investigates the mental state of a murderer who kills for no reason. College student Kanna Hijiriyama (Kyoko Yoshine) dreams of becoming a TV presenter, but instead stabs her father to death. Certified psychologist Yuki Makabe (Keiko Kitagawa) is asked to write a book about this crime, so she meets Kanna face-to-face. Though at the mercy of his vague expression, the two continue to keep in touch. As Kanna's mental state clears, Yuki is forced to confront the memories she has buried in her own heart.
