Charles is a young man who jokes with girls and never promises to marry. One day, at a friend's wedding, he meets the woman of his life: he falls in love with the American Carrie, but cannot express his feelings! Interestingly, Charles and Carrie later met at a funeral and three more weddings. Each time, their friendship will renew, but they will become engaged to other people despite their unacknowledged interest in each other. Two of these weddings will be with Charles and Carrie.
