Free Birds is the amusing story of two turkeys who come together and travel in time to remove the turkey meal from the menu for their freedom. While Reggie is living an extremely happy and trouble-free life, he finds himself getting ready for the New Year's Eve banquet at the White House. One day, when he is kidnapped by another turkey named Jake, he learns the real reason he was there. Reggie will be used for one of the table's ordinary meals rather than being the guest of honor at the dinner table. Reggie and Jack put their heads together and decide to escape from the huge building, while encountering a secret government lab in a corner of the house. The time machine in the laboratory takes them to 1621, the date when a turkey was first baked on New Year's Eve.
