Fruitvale Station, which was screened for the first time on January 19, 2013 at the Sundance film festival, one of the biggest supporters of American cinema, received very positive reviews according to the first impressions. The American-made film, which came to our country on November 1, 2013 with its Turkish name and was determined as the Last Destination, was directed by the young director Ryan Coogler, born in 1986, and the screenplay was written by Ryan Coogler. The romantic drama and biopic, which features Michael B. Jordan, whom we know from the movie Chronic Singles, along with names such as Melonie Diaz and Octavia Spencer, also manages to give the audience a good time for 85 minutes. Filmed on a small budget of only $900K, Fruitvale Station was a good success, grossing approximately $18 million at the box office. Finally, the 2013 movie, which was voted by more than 34 thousand IMDB users, received a good score of 7.5. A group of black youths are protesting at the Bart station called Fruitvale in the Oakland area of San Francisco. As the police arrive to disperse the protesters, a few shots are fired and everyone starts to disperse. Then, the day before Christmas, we meet Oscar, who is in his 20s, in Area Bay. Oscar Hayward is busy putting things in order and fighting hard for it. On the very last day of 2008, he will try to cross the border, taking his friends, enemies, family and even strangers with him. This departure of Oscar will deeply affect not only his family and relatives, but also the whole of America.
