Gauthier, a young journalist, learns from his mother that he is the illegitimate child of old pop artist Guy Jamet, who was famous from the 60s to 90s. When the old man goes on tour to promote his new cover album, Gauthier decides to follow the man secretly and make a documentary about his career.
