Pam Bales, an experienced mountaineer, is climbing Mount Washington and when a giant snowstorm approaches, she decides to turn back before she reaches the summit. On her way downstairs, Pam encounters a lonely man stranded on the road. Pam makes it her mission to get them both off the mountain before it gets dark and succumbs to the storm.
