The film tells with great devotion what her husband Jacqueline Kennedy went through to overcome the trauma she experienced after the death of American President John F. Kennedy after the attack in 1963, and her husband's historical heritage by standing upright in front of his children. Based on the interview Jackie gave to LIFE magazine after her preparations for the assassination and funeral, the movie was directed by Pablo Larraín and starring successful names such as Natalie Portman, Peter Sarsgaard and Greta Gerwig.
