Jimmy's Hall 2014

Activist Jimmy Gralton created a "hall" he opened in his own city at a time when freedom of expression was not possible, creating an environment where people could come together to discuss, learn and talk on various topics. While gaining popularity, the place is facing backlash and censorship from some quarters, particularly the Catholic Church. Thus, Jimmy Gralton, who spent ten years of his life in exile in America, is faced with another Ireland when he returns home in 1932. His goal is to save his family's farm and help his mother. But the story he left unfinished ten years ago will continue. Although he does not want to face his old enemies like the church and landlords again, circumstances make this confrontation necessary. Gralton reopens the "hall" and his fame begins to spread rapidly again. However, there is a significant segment that will be hindered by Jimmy's growing influence and innovative ideas.
