Legend of the Demon Cat Movie The story of the movie, adapted from the novel "Shamon Kukai Tou no kuni nite oni to utagesu" written by the famous Japanese author Yumemakura Baku, is about the events that took place in the Tang Dynasty. A Chinese poet and a Japanese monk decide to investigate the cause of the death of a deceased concubine. However, they will soon learn the dark secret behind death.
