In the final chapter of the Oz legacy, Dorothy returns to Kansas and finds Kansas devastated by a hurricane. This place he misses is badly damaged and the townspeople are leaving their homes. Shortly after Dorothy's arrival, she is magically sent back to Oz. He realizes that Oz is in trouble and that the people of Oz need their help. Dorothy's old friends are gone. Dorothy makes new friends on the way to her friends.
