Mike (Channing Tatum) designs furniture during the day and enchants his audience with his sensual dance shows at night. This situation also pleases Dallas (Matthew McConaughey), the owner of the club he works for. Realizing the talent of young Adam (Alex Pettyfer), nicknamed The Kid, Mike begins to teach him the tricks of dance, how to pick up women and how to make money the easy way. Adam soon gains a serious fan base at the club, while Mike falls in love with his sister, Brook (Cody Horn).
