Stuck in a moral stalemate, expert assassin Alex (Liam Neeson) refuses to complete a job that violates his rules. As a result, Alex must capture and kill his recruits before FBI Agent Vincent Serra (Guy Pearce) finds him. Alex Lewis is made for revenge, but with a faltering memory, it becomes more difficult to handle. As the details of his memory become more blurred by the day, Alex tries to find people he can trust to stay alive.
