Mimic 1997

Successful scientists Susan Tyler and Dr. Peter Mann works together to eradicate a contagious disease that threatens children's lives in New York City. Dr. Tyler creates the DNA of different species against the carrier of the disease. He names this new species Judas, and Dr. Mann's assistant introduces this to the whole of New York. The leading role is played by Oscar-winning young actress Mira Sorvino in the movie "Mimic", which tells about the confrontation of nature and man in the unstoppable development of science and technology. The film, directed by Guillermo Del Toro from the Tarantino team, is almost like a message of fear to humanity, who upset the balance of nature for the sake of civilization.
