Modern Times Streaming

Chaplin's final "silent" movie was full of sound effects and was made when everyone else was chatting. Charlie opposes modern society, the mechanical age, (the use of sound in movies?) And progress. First, you can see him desperately catching up with the production line and trying to tighten his bolts. He was selected to experiment with an automatic feeder, but in various accidents his boss believed he was angry and Charlie was sent to a mental hospital-when he left, he waved a red flag. While being mistaken for a communist, he is sent to jail, prevented jailbreak, and reissued. Track Charlie with more escapes before the movie goes on sale.
