When Japanese armed forces destroyed another giant kaiju a young paleontologist rescues its baby by taking the mysterious red egg to Cincinnati, Ohio. When the jet arrives, he accidentally flushes the egg down the toilet and it goes right down into the Ohio River. While a group of psysicist are testing uber-fission in an installation beneath the city of Cincinnati, they discover the egg. Soon, they will realize that the creature inside will remain small unless it's not exposed to alcohol.
