Young Mija and her giant animal friend Okja spend 10 idyllic years in the mountains of South Korea, and Lucy Mirando, the image-obsessed CEO of Mirando Corporation, has Okja transferred to New York City. Mija then sets out to save her, but her sad journey collides with a group of capitalists, pretentious people and consumers.
