Jorge del Pino, who supported his family by acting as an actor during the Spanish Civil War in 1936-1939, lost their lives when the house of Jorge del Pino was hit during the bombing. A year later, Jorge goes to Madrid with his friend Enrique from the theater. Miguel, 9, an orphan, also joins the community. While the comedy theater activities of this trio continue, the soldiers of the Franco regime never leave Jorge, who was once a resister, and they wait for him to make a mistake to put him in jail. Jorge and his team are caught in the middle of a plot to assassinate the dictator Franco.
