Palm Trees and Power Lines is a coming-of-age drama film about a disconnected teenage girl who enters into a relationship with a much older man. Directed by Jamie Dack, the film stars Lily McInerny, Jonathan Tucker, and Gretchen Mol. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2022, where Dack won the Directing Award for U.S Dramatic Competition. It was later released in theaters and on VOD by Momentum Pictures in March 2023. The film received positive reviews from critics and garnered four nominations at the Independent Spirit Awards, including Best First Feature.
