The pandemic in the near future has taken over the whole world with a virus epidemic. With more infected than non-infected, humanity is losing hope of survival. The only hope is to find a cure and contain the infection traps. Lauren (Rachel Nichols), on the other hand, is a doctor who comes to Los Angeles after New York's collapse and leads the team that hunts down the epidemics, trying to save healthy survivors.
