Louis Creed and his wife, together with their two children, decide to move to a quiet town to get rid of the noisy and crowded life they spent in Boston. The family, which has moved to their new home, is overwhelmed with great sadness after the loss of their beloved cat as a result of an unknown accident. They bury the deceased cat in the mysterious cemetery located right near their home, and soon they encounter an impossible situation. That cat they buried has come back to life!
