Platoon 1986

Detachment tells the story of a young man who enlisted in the Vietnam War. A student named Chris Taylor leaves school and joins the Vietnam War as a volunteer. Assigned to a border front in Vietnam, Taylor is exhausted by the adverse weather and grueling conditions prevailing on the front. Witnessing the attack of the Vietnamese one night, the squadron witnesses the death of some soldiers during this turmoil. The show of force between two sergeants in this small military unit also results in things going wrong. These people, who do not know what they are fighting for, lose their faith in the concepts of life, death and war day by day.
