Don't Resist Movie, honor will conquer you! The year is 1984. England is influenced by Margaret Thatcher's conservative policies. One of the main groups oppressed in this political atmosphere is homosexuals. However, there is another group that is under the same pressure; miners! Can these two groups, who at first glance have nothing in common, be able to help each other? Pride is a wonderful example of British cinema, telling the true and colorful story of how lesbian and gay activists join forces with miners to overcome both political obstacles and prejudice.
