The film is about the funny transformation story of chameleon Rango (Depp), who lives an ordinary pet life, always protected from bad and unpleasant things, while going through a major identity crisis. After all, how high can you aim if your only goal in life is to fit in with the crowd? When Rango accidentally finds himself in the town of Earth, populated by the daring, thugs and vigilantes, and populated by the desert's most dishonest and crooked creatures, he realizes he's drawn attention to this not-so-brave lizard. Rejoiced as the town's long-awaited hope, Sheriff Rango is forced to play his new role with all it takes... until he finds himself in action-packed situations and encounters terrifying characters.
