Shola (Bukky Bakray), or Rocks, as she's known, lives in London's public housing with her younger brother Emmanuel (D'angelou Osei Kissiedu) and a single mother. Mom is busy and stressed, and Rocks decides to spend her free time with her school friends. One day she went home and found that her life had changed radically. She suddenly takes care of her with her child. Gabron could have easily led rock to micellarism, but instead offers an amazing portrait of elasticity. Rocks is merciful, impulsive, and very sensitive-not uncommon for her age, she sometimes desperately makes bad decisions for what seems to her justification. When her best friend Sumaya (Kosal Ali) tries to help, Rocks is dazzled by the family and relative comfort of Sumaya's two parents and doesn't know how to accept it.
