Our Hero, Don Wallace, comes from a humble life and attends a school run by sadistic sixth graders, governed by surprising new world rules and rituals. Hierarchy is aggressively enforced at school, and he is strictly forbidden to talk to Clemsie, the school goddess with whom he fell in love at first sight. But this old and orderly world is about to be shaken to its very foundations, literally. A controversial mining operation in the forest causes seismic tremors and a mysterious sinkhole.
