Star Trek Insurrection 1998 Movie Embarking on a new mission aboard the Starship Enterprise, Captain Jean-Luc Picard learns that Captain Data, one of the crew members on board, has gone insane and has taken a research team hostage. In this case, he wants to recover Data first. Unless they recover Data, it will be destroyed. As Picard continues his work on the subject, they obtain some strange-looking data about the race known as the Ba`ku, which the cultural research team is observing. so they have no choice but to disobey the order.
