In the production, where the writer and director named Jennifer Kent writes and goes behind the camera, there are unknown actors such as Essie Davis, Daniel Henshall and Noah Wiseman. However, the acting was very appropriate and well done. The movie Karabasan, which was subjected to a score of 7.1 after the 9986-person IMDB voting, manages to leave a good impression for 1 hour and 33 minutes. I don't want to go without mentioning, the drama scenes outweigh the movie. A woman named Amelia lost her husband 6 years ago and she could not get over her sadness. Raising her son alone, Amelia was both mother and father to him. One day, while browsing through his son's books, he finds a strange book named Mr. Karabasan among them. Samuel, on the other hand, states that he saw the Babadook in his dream that night, and from that moment on, mysterious events begin to happen. Amelia constantly tries to get rid of the book and even destroys it, but it somehow comes back again and again. As the days go by, her son's nightmares become more intense and the woman does not know what to do. This event, which shakes the helpless woman to a great extent, causes her to have a hard time with her son.
