Trying to cope with the absence of his mother and father, nine-year-old Ren suddenly finds himself in a parallel universe while running around in despair and anger. Kumatetsu, an extremely rude, callous and selfish fighter in this universe inhabited by monsters, decides to make Ren his apprentice. Unable to forget the world he left behind despite many years of fighting, noise and hard training, will Ren return to where he left off, or will he stay in this universe and become a master fighter?
