George is worried about his friend Donford while the choir's director, Dennis, is plagued by a Christmas Eve concert in their church. Meanwhile, George's brother Allen works as a studio guitarist in Los Angeles. Allen promised to return to Kentucky for months-the promise wasn't fulfilled. George learns that Don Ford is worried about his daughter, Celia, who is a struggling actress in Hollywood, and George plans. Allen drives home and brings Celia. But when George and Dennis thought everything was in place, Dennis' parents decided to visit for a vacation. George learned that Donford was not grateful for his intervention and that the church choir had lost the concert soloist.
