A journalist chasing everyday stories that are too weird to be true finds himself trapped between special forces on a mind-blowing mission when he discovers a secret division of the US military. When journalist Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor) meets the enigmatic Lyn Cassidy (Oscar-winning actor George Clooney), who claims to be part of a US Army experimental unit, he's on the hunt for powerful news that will get him his big break. . According to Cassidy, the New Earth Army uses different methods of warfare. A unit called the "Warrior Monks" consists of individuals with unique psychic powers, able to read the mind of the enemy, pass through a wall, and even kill a goat by looking at it. The show's creator, Bill Django (Oscar nominee Jeff Bridges) has gone missing, and it's up to Cassidy to find him. Confused and intrigued by the incredible stories of Lin, whom he has just met, Bob suddenly decides to follow her. As the two travel to Jango's secret camp led by fugitive seer Larry Hooper (twice Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey), Bob finds himself caught between Jango's New World army and Hooper's personal army of good soldiers. In order to survive in this challenging adventure, he will have to defeat an unexpected enemy.
