Dillon McCabe is sentenced to 15 years in prison for the murder of a police officer after the night he won the wrestling championship and is released from prison after 10 years. Having regained his freedom, Dillon now wants to take control of his life. McCabe, who decided to participate in the fights where martial arts are practiced, has achieved success by winning the first few matches, but these successes will only cause more trouble for him. After a while, he will realize that his real enemy is the existing system... The Philly Kid, which was screened in the USA on 11 May 2012, was directed by Jason Connery and written by Adam Mervis. Devon Sawa and Sarah Butler play the leading roles, along with the young actress Wes Chatham.
