(1974)Thieves Like Us 1974
The movie takes place during the Great Depression. It follows the lives of two lovers who break the law and commit robberies in rural Mississippi. It is considered one of Robert Altman's best films. Jean Boffeti, whom we know from Cesar and Rosalie and the Girl with Lace, is the cinematographer of the film, which is a special production with its visual richness, revisionist approach to recent American history and lyrical tones.
