In the future, Diego loses his life during the Bosnian war and Gemma goes to another country because she does not want to stay there anymore. After the war is over, Gemma returns to Sarajevo and has a son with her, but her son is not her real son. He constantly remembers what happened in the past and remembers those days with sadness. There are some things he doesn't know about Diego and he does his best to find out. The film is about two people falling madly in love with each other in the middle of a war, and their struggle for life with their love in so much pain.
