The film is about an angel set in divided Berlin, seeking earthly love to become a man. Through the eyes of the angel Damiel (Bruno Ganz) and the angel Cassiel (Otto Sander), we watch the different life in the city and witness different dramas. Based on their position, they too should be just passive observers. Damiel decides to change that... Wings of Desire, like many movies about paradise on earth, has a romantic ending. One of the most spectacular endings you can see in a movie that ends with the binary opposites of life... Sky Over Berlin is one of the most memorable films in the history of cinema. It's rare to find a film on screen that captures existential philosophy so well, misunderstandings and alienation so well. This is a very lively performance about the division of German society, the heavy burden of their past, and the Germans torn and alienated by this burden. Although it develops through monologues, it is a masterpiece that tells its problems with incredible shots. The angles, images and music used by the director describe alienation very well.
