(1957)Witness for the Prosecution 1957 Film
Famous lawyer Sir Wilfrid Robarts returns to work for this case, which arose during a break from his profession due to health problems. The defendant is a man named Leonard Vole, whom he met and advocated before, and this man is accused of murdering a rich and widowed woman, Emily French. French, who once fell madly in love with Leonard, appointed Leonard as the most important heir to his legacy before he died. As it stands, all the evidence is consistently in favor of Leonard being the murderer.
