Jacob is a teenager who believes he is a wolf trapped in a human body. This situation of their children devastates his family and he is hospitalized to have him treated. There, Jacob meets other patients who describe himself as another species, such as a panda, horse, parrot, and is forced to engage with them in unconventional therapies. The only solace she finds in her difficult times at the hospital is the mysterious wildcat she walks with at night in the hospital.
