Ethan Hawke and director Abel Ferrara join forces for this gritty, tense political thriller set on a deadly night in Rome. Called to stop a terrorist bombing near the city, soldier J.J. (Ethan Hawke) desperately searches for news of his imprisoned rebel brother Justin (also Hawke), who has information that could prevent the attack. Wandering the dark streets of the capital, J.J. engages in a series of struggles in hopes of keeping the Vatican from falling to pieces.
